Does anyone have a recipe for a gluten free cake that doesn't include gluten free flour? my friends popping round and I thought I'd make her a cake, but it needs to be gluten free.

You need some form of starch....

Forget about making a cake.
Think of something else to serve her.
If you don't use gluten free flour, then you won't have a gluten free cake.
Well, cakes need to have flour in them.
