Have droid phone. The m.youtube.com/create_channel site let me fill in name, birthday,etc.,but still my gmail account isn't recognized in YouTube. I've been trying to figure this out for weeks! Any help will be very appreciated!

Into the GMail, click the link I provided to unlink and then sign out of the GMail.

YeaMake sure your Gmail is linked or it was used to create and open that YouTube Account.
Hit the sign-in button at the YouTube site and it should just sign you in automatically.

I do not ever want to be signed into YouTube. I do want to be signed into Gmail. Every time I log into Gmail, then YouTube, it automatically logs me into YouTube using my Gmail account. Why? I wasn't even asked and I can't figure out how to opt out of...
