B - you should have followed them to see if any toes went missing ;) Jeeeez!! I would not have wanted to be that person at the other end .
Anyone here sprinting barefoot? What is the form like? Any info would be great. Thanks

I always run concentrating on going fast....
But I do Barefoot sprints on grass for practice.
Thaats when I strap on the VFFs.
Sprints barefoot on the indoor track and one thing that I struggle with is slipping on the rubber as much.
Either completely barefoot or with minimalist footwear. Any thoughts? Experiences?

Soon as I got off of work, I'd kick my bring myself to run barefoot....
I spent a summer going barefoot as much as possible.
Because of the surfaces we run on I was afraid to go completely barefoot - lots boards.

Putting on shoes could just mask bad form and you're going to get your form is off or you're doing too much....
Before you go putting on any type of shoe you first need to figure out why you're feet are getting torn up.
Can all day every day.
Should I opt to run on grass, sand, or trails until the pain stops or is it okay to barefoot run on concrete and asphalt when coming back from an injury like shinsplints?

(oh, and if you are like me, my shinsplints NEVER of their ailments- such as PF .
Barefoot running should not be looked at as a CURE* for injuries- it's role is much better described are healed, proceed to a proper barefoot program.
...discuss. EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm talking about running in barefoot style shoes (ie zero mm drop and not cushioning), not with naked feet.
