If one of their tires is tubeless it should have the UST logo on the casing.
It is my understanding that Continental do not make tubeless tires other than UST.
Tube or tubeless tires? I've ordered a new 2011 Trek Hi-Fi Deluxe 29er and I'm thinking about having the tires converted to tubeless. Is anyone running tubeless and do you recommend it or not?

On my first ride I got a flat from a thorn...I can not wait to go back to tubeless.
No more flats and lower pressure! I still run tubes for DH weeks ago .
Love tubeless and won't go back .

As for tyres, I have managed to get most tyres that I wanted tubeless done very easily.
Nobody? Well at least how do you feel about the Schwalbe tires? The wheels tubeless up easily.
Any experience with these rims? Can I throw in a rim strip and mount up tubeless tires? Any input would be appreciated

Fed up with flats - Time to go tubeless? Thorns on my favorite trail are costing me $6-$12 per ride, which is insane. I've already tried slime in my tubes, which didn't make a significant difference. Is it time for me to get a whole new kind of tire? ...

Lots....
I'm going tubeless on the Hardtail everywhere.
I don't think you need to go all the way tubeless if you are just on roads and such, tubeless anti-tubeless...but my local trails are convincing me otherwise.

Finally made the switch to tubeless. Everything was cool outside of one issue. During the course of a 12-15 mi ride i lost 13 psi in my back tire. That cant be normal, can it? At one point i went off a drop and heard a great pssshh. Had to have dropped...

Its, or having a better rim/tire combo.
I had a similar experience to you: Oh yeah, i don't plan to go back to tubes just frustrating getting things going right.
And go for some light tires with a ghetto tubeless set-up.
What are the smallest/lightest tires you have successfully set up tubeless on Arch's? I built a mostly parts bin 1x9 speed bike that will be used 98.99% on the street for hill climbing/training rides, cruising the boardwalk, fetching beer from the liquor...

Beware the pressure ratings if going.
A cx rim strip (liner not tape) maybe that would work w/ non tubeless tires.

I ride primarily hardpack/loose-over and love the Captain in the back for climbing and rolling however I'm noticing more than ever how sketchy it is under braking. It slides all over the place Any suggestions on an XC rear tire that sets up tubeless, ...

Which version? How is it tubeless? How strong are the sidewalls? I had my only sidewall tear on a Rocket Ron and given the prices I've been tentative in going back to Schwalbe.
