Just cancelled mine in December. That is the first time I was charged (notice received long time ago). Last year I called them, they offered me nothing. Same for this time. I guess they knew since I had 3 Amex cards, I would still be a Amex customer regardless...

Amex is lucky it has a deal with Costco to use Amex dealing with wants to stop you....
So, might as well keep it for Costco.

Question about AMEX Gold Rewards Card REWARDS Does anyone know if this card has any bonus (similar to 1.5x BA points from RBC Avion) for converting to other loyalty programs other than AEROPLAN. I am wondering if its worth it to wait for these promotions...

I love my AMEX charge card, but I'm under no illusion that they're any good for rewards.

I was thinking about getting this cc for all of the travel perks, but I noticed there is no lounge access with UA.
Is this an ok card if I am flying united 90% of my flights?

As a UA flyer, it is of no use to you IMO Phorever there is no lounge... .
I'm a UAThis card will only get you into US lounges.
Of those posting seem to like the Chase Sapphire card and the Amex Premier Rewards Gold card.

No annual fee and 3% back on fuel, 2% at restaurants and 1% everywhere else including Costco... .
I personally use Costco's AMEX card.

Anyone ever upgrade from the Zync to the green card? I been thinking about applying for the green card but is the $95/year worth it versus the $25/year for the Zync?

I got a letter yesterday stating that I could now pay any charge over $100 overtime at an APR of 18%.
That would be for my Platinum AMEX.
Anyone else got that and any of you using the feature? Defeats the purpose of charge card but does it mean that AMEX...
