Is the Fujifilm FinePix HS20 16 MP Digital Camera a good camera to buy or am I better of with theKodak M5350? any suggestions on good cameras that take good pictures but when I use photoshop & edit the image it'll still look good?

So I love the back-up camera and the top-down camera mode is amazing.
But I totally don't get and have never found a use for the side-view cameras. BMW must feel they are important and useful, they even have their own button while the other two camera...
