I guess I'm just fishin' for feedback on WHY I should not just acquire a good 30.06 and use it for everything ? an African safari is not in the cards for me - a moose or caribou trip to AK or BC is - Rocky Mtn elk and deer hunts and spring black bear ...

." ~Townsend Whelen Can anyone make a good argument against using the .30-06?

Well, on the last trip to Calico my Dad broke the rear passenger shock mount (top), and the rear driver shock mount is on its way as well. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could recommend some good shocks for my 06 Rubicon with a sky jacker suspension...

Good shocks include Old Man Emu Nitrochargers, Rancho R9000xl around the net and I have come across....
may have installed shocks that are too long for the amount of suspension lift height and they were of a shock length issue than anything.

Good luck mate and hopefully....
If you can, get beaches.
Cabrinha is a good brand but different kites suit different purposes so be careful what you choose as it may be a full on freestyle kite that will twitch and pull like a train.
