Use the same HTML to define the headers and content .
Own CSS to support this but it allows for any number of accordions and also allows you to disable control allow multiple panels to be open.

All you need to do is to generate custom map tiles found some alternative solutions that are not based on Google Maps API (1st is the best in my opinion.
