Because I chose
MAUREEN Low grade DCIS with clear margins under 5 mm may not need to be radiated.
Took off Tamox, bi-lat mast June 1 with recon.
Dx with low grade DCIS right.

I thought DCIS was only in the milk ducts. I got my MRI results and they mentioned a spot near the chest wall.

grade 1 IDC and I guess as a DCIS is probably more like 2 or 3%? No harm in asking your onco-surgeon IIb, Grade 2, 1/17 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- I had DCIS, Stage 3 in '06 w/right breast mast, SIEA the best.
