Sorry, I'm obviously new at this, but the idea of this function is to fade the top half only of the picture (make it gradually darker). Here is what I have but it seems to be making all of the top half solid black. Any help would be appreciated.

I assume 0 corresponds to black, but what's the brightest? You seem to be assuming it's 1, but it might actually be 255 or something .

Got a 408 stroker that when you start motor runs 40 pounds of oil pressure and gradually losses oil pressure as idles. used to run 70 pounds of oil pressure before at idle.

Very strange I just reset stock counts on a number of items to 1000, and as I'm sitting here watching the 'products with stock total' via the control panel, the stock counts on a couple of items are decrementing about 1 every 5 minutes or so .

Is it just me or are people in the world getting dumber and dumber? I base this on the idea that regardless of what advice you give to patients or people in general you still see this being disregarded and other ridiculously stupid behaviour still runs...
