Maybe it's just my TV (Sony 52" Bravia LCD), but on any of the night tracks, everything appears to be very "grainy." Not sure how else to describe it, anybody else get this sense?

Have you tried alternatives, such as Open Office? I realize that heavy MS Office users often don't find OO to be sufficient, but at the very least you could use it as a diagnostic tool .
