The beach i far superior at Grand Mayan than Mayan Palace.
The Grand Mayan is very nice, certainly and buses are available.

I dont know specifically but I would bet you could buy a Grand Mayan cheaper on the resale market (or simply give away) the current membership first, and then acquire a resale for the Grand Mayan Palace and Grand ....

There is a course up in Litibu for teh same amount that is 10 times the course at Mayan.
$180 a round is their non Mayan Owner rate.
