We too were naive enough to go to a "presentation" at the Grand Mayan Resort in Los Cabos. Canadian "Debbie" and local "Eric" were ruthless. In fact Eric was a complete A#@. We walked out w/ our gifts but PISSED.

They forget get....
Then once you decline their offer for the 100th time they treat you like dirt .
They treat you very nice prior to your presentation which is usually about two days after you arrive .
This happen at all the mexico beach destination resorts.

(MP cannot use Grand Mayan facilities.) Mayan....
They also have their own pools but the Grand Mayan can use all the Mayan Palace pools too, which are HUGE.
Generally the Grand Mayan rooms are much nicer.
