I have black granite worktops and was wondering what is the best cleaner to use on them. Does the normal cleaners discolour them over time? i was buying a special granite cleaner buts it a lot more expensive than the regular ones.
Anyone have any advice...

A granite work top and we sprayed it first with a cleaner and then dried it, then with a paper towel use a little baby oil to shine it up and avoid streaks I use Method Granite Cleaner from Tesco/online I just use an e-cloth....

Hey, Just joined the group and wanted to know if anyone has granite counter tops and if you have found any natural anti bacterial cleaners to use on it? I have used the Method granite cleaner but its just a polish more or less not really for cleaning....

We have a new bathroom with a granite counter top. I have never had anything granite before. Can you tell me what you do/use to keep it clean and shiny? I don't want to ruin it! Thanks

Then for upkeep, clean....
I use granite cleaner on my bathroom countertops, and just plain.
It will make the granite cloudy.
Clean it regularly (I use some spray granite cleaner I like).
Seal it every couple years.

I would think jointer would be a great application granite-top saw.
Not a user, but I saw one of the Ridgid Granite Topped Table Saws in a local HD where the Miter Granite was a rock solid idea (pun intended).

I bought sort of cleaner/sealer (spray on, wipe off) from Home Depot and I've used it once or twice forums.
They do show a lot! I use granite gold daily cleaner and once in a while their polish.
