If you're really set on getting into the design industry - which it seems like you are - there are a few things I'd look at with each course .
In my opinion, if you're going to a uni based on the location, you can't really be picky about the course .

Woah! He is so talented! Wish I could do stuff like that .
I love those orbs, that is really stunning! Zooming in on a enclosed reflected sphere with a few loops inside in photoshop can show you wonders =D cool .
