So, I am wondering why is (or isn't) your high school great. I'm not talking about the academics, but just the overall environment. What makes your school special...

Can anyone sell me their suburb/area?
It needs to be within 40 minutes drive of Elizabeth and have a great public school (or an affordable private school).
Affordable too (under $400k for a 3-4 bedroom house).

Athelstone has a great school, but won't get you children go to Trinity....
Affordable too as far 'south' as Modbury/Dernancourt/Athelstone.
Drive of Elizabeth and have a great public school (or an affordable private school).

I think in the public school system - I have a daughter in hIgh school and another daugher.
Both Riverwood and Creekwood are excellent (spoken as a former middle school teacher).

Can anyone recommend a private school with a really good extra-curricular program, especially outdoor/adventurous stuff? As we are fairly remote he will have to board anyway, so location not important.

If you want to be popular, successful and beloved at your school, there's only one thing you need: charisma. However, since you probably don't have that, an easy thing to fall back on is having a great nickname.
A nickname not only makes you sound cool...
