It is possible to do runtime compilation....
C needs to be compiled into an executable.
For me, a script could be any small program you write are a script that is run by "make", or MSBuild, etc.
It depends on your definition of script.

I also use it when I want to write a simple command-line script that takes-to-use (if a tad verbose) language that everybody knows....
Just send them the script for no real benefit.
To the customers' needs without having to compile anything.
