What is your favorite way to prepare green beans?
I serve them as a side dish usually with chicken or beef. I like to blanch them and then just before service I heat them up in a pan with some butter, salt and pepper, almonds are good too.

Are Kentucky Wonder pole beans the king of beans?
My family likes the taste of the flat Italian pole bean, Romano better than KW. I also grew some Italian specialty bean firetongue for drying and it seemed excellent to me for soups, almost kinda sweet.

How do you make white beans?
You can also sautee onions and mushrooms, then mix that with plain cooked white beans. This makes an absolutely delicious dish that can then be paired with a salad, some kind of grain dish, etc. We normally use it as a side dish with meat, but it stands on its own very well.

Cherokee pole beans, what do they look like really?
I think I will pick them as green beans cuz I love beans cooked lightly with butter. I dont think I hae enough to harvest a pound of dried beans so i will pick as they grow.

Vegan green bean casserole, anyone?
No, I just used regular frozen cut green beans and I sort of eyeballed the amount. I also shredded the carrot, because I hate chunks of cooked carrot but I like the flavor it adds to things.
