I tiled next to a pop station at the local casino a couple weeks ago. It turns out that the patrons are spilling pop on the grout...surprise, surprise. Now the GC wants me to seal it, but clean up the grout lines first. Can I do that all in one trip? ...

We just took over my sisters side of the house and it doesn't look like the shower grout has EVER been cleaned. How can I get rid of the mold and mildew stains without breaking the bank. I want to do this as economical as I can. I have grout brushes.....

I just grouted my new tile floor yesterday (with TEC 650 sanded grout mixed with Grout Boost additive) and apparently didn't do as good a job as I thought cleaning it as I went. The tile had a pretty thick haze on it this morning which I cleaned off but...

Cleaning grout without damaging tiles
We have lovely blue bathroom tiles on the floor of our shower. I need to clean the grout (it's not too bad atm) but want to be careful not to stain the tiles by bleach based products.
Any suggestions please?

Long life grout cleaner, it's in a yellow bottle from Bunnings and a Vileda grout brush.
The tiles are glazed - I just thought tiles or grout in that time.

This was in Edinburgh and i'm the stains, how long it took....
If my memory serves me right the main contractor got a specialist stone contractor to buff/polish away the stains and the floor was perfect.
Brown stains on the limestone.

My wife would like to have white ceramic floor tiles fitted to our kitchen but I'm worried that the white grouting will get dirty and turn black.

Dependant upon what colour your spread white grout on a floor.
You could use a grout sealer but unless you are prepared to walk in socks/slippers I would strongly recommend not to use white grout on a floor, especially kitchen.

I've laid tiles in my bathroom and kitchen and it does take a lot of elbow grease, and sometimes multiple cleanings, to get all the grout down with a soft cloth.
The grout color if not properly/completely cleaned after grouting.
