I am growing the following herbs outsided, parsley, rosemary, chives, orego & mint. I sometimes by basil & corrindar in posts in aldi/tesco, but after a week they seem to die. I keep them in the kitchen, water them, etc. How do ye grow these successfully...

Basil and coriander are very easy come in and take whatever amount... .
I find the best way to grow herbs is to plant them from seed.
It's difficult to grow the herbs that you buy in pots in the supermarket as they are usually grown.

Some of my herb plants had a few poison ivy vines growing in them-I cut them out about 1 week ago and we have had rainy days since then.
would you all think I could use the herbs now for cooking if I wash them well?
just dont want to take a chance

I would get out the poison ivy vines, trim the herbs, let them grow and trim one more time.

Mint must will get you a million basil leaves.
I grow a bunch of herbs and use the basil, rosemary and thyme the most.
I guess I might skip the oregano places.
I grow all these in containers outside.

Even when I've neglected to water the ones I grow they still look great and keep right and I can't have a garden.
I'll start growing soem sort of mint to maintain.
Mobile I grow leeks, chives, sage, oregano, and basil.

Herbs are easy to grow just get them from a garden centre me dawg? I just knew someone would use the other meaning of the word herbs I usually wash it just to get off any bugs that may be on....
