With plenty of advice on the marque Ive got a twin turbo GTO that I use as daily driver, serves me very well.Non turbo's imo are a joy to own...if you accept the car for what it was intended for ie a GT car.

I know some of you guys are previous gto folks, so
wanted to ask what the main differences were in
the 5.7l vs. the 6.0l engine. are they all rated @
400hp, and does the 5.7 have any weaknesses that
they may have fixed when they moved to the 6.0 ?

I think the LS1 in the GTO's had the LS6 intake and block though.
He's broken-bodies from 1998-2002.
One with heads and cam, the other a built motor with an STS turbo kit.
Started as LS2's.

Off subject a bit.. but
I drove a new BMW 328 today with 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine with twin turbos.. OMG.. it's powerful.. and gets like 38 MPG average.. unless you push it hard.. then you get like.. . 26MPG..
8 speed auto trans.. pretty impressive...

Brian B yeah, it's the reason why I bought a 335 M sports coupe, inline 6 with twin Mercedes E320CDI is a straight six 3....
Unless you push to interject.
And gets like 38 MPG average..
It's powerful..
