Of an change in string tension? In reality should i need to take it back to my guitar tech to adjust to be the all around string for staying in tune and near impossible to break For me it's Ernie Ball.

I'm going to set up my Epiphone Les Paul Standard for D standard and Drop C. What guage strings should I use? Right now I'm considering Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky (.11 - .54) or Not Even Slinky (.12 - .56). My guitar is 24.75" scale.

Here's a guide with recommended string gauges for both dropped and standard tunings.
No problems.
But I like the feel of thicker strings under my" scale guitar before.
Standard and use GHS .13 - .56 with a wound third string.
I'm currently recording a band who's bassist's bass sucks. I'm going to use my jazz bass, however, I always play it in standard and never tune it down. They're in drop B and I'm curious if you guys think something like a 55-110 would be thick enough? ...

Track on my 4 string jazz bass but i think i'll just have them track it all on my 5 string to avoid.

What would happen if you ran .050 gauge chain on a .058 guage bar? Would it do ok?

What advantage could there be? I found a good deal on .058 guage bar but no chain included and my dealer ( or any other dealer....

Some necks will.....
You'd need to let the tension pull on the neck a bit first to see if it even needs an adjustment .
