I use ernie ball 11-48 and 12-56 gauges on my guitars. I tune them to Eb and ive never had any problems

I'm going to set up my Epiphone Les Paul Standard for D standard and Drop C. What guage strings should I use? Right now I'm considering Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky (.11 - .54) or Not Even Slinky (.12 - .56). My guitar is 24.75" scale.

Here's a guide with recommended string gauges for both dropped and standard tunings.
No problems.
But I like the feel of thicker strings under my" scale guitar before.
Standard and use GHS .13 - .56 with a wound third string.

Some necks will.....
You'd need to let the tension pull on the neck a bit first to see if it even needs an adjustment .
