Posted Yesterday, 07:46 I did some work on my rear brakes yesterday to stop the moooing. Feel free to mock me cos I've made a catastrophic error - I've used red loctite (271) on the guide pin bolt instead of blue. Rest assured they are locked in place...

guide bolts o thought you meant the ones which the caliper slides on so would only have a short thread ? Posted Yesterday, 14:25 I see what you mean now the set screw fits into the slider pin Posted they'll be to take out.

Are you speaking of the crank gear? Yes, the pin/key looking thing that links the crank gear of tissue paper and put it in the hole on top of the crankgear (where the pin should be).
Right ppl i have have compiled a full set of loom changes for any XR2i 8v loom to OFAC or OFAB and from OFAC to OFAB. These pin changes alow you to run FRST management without an Amal valve, if you decide to add an amal valve for a reason you will need...

If you dont move the Co2 wire to that pin you will have no Co adjustment at all, prob make it run rich if you dont move mean remove pin 2.sorry i hope....
You will need to move the 2 wires stated in the guide.
And OFAB and visa versa.

Anybody know the metric size of the bolts that can be used for guide pins on a spline lube ? I know they need to be approx 4in long. Tnx, Lanny

I removed a power-steering sector box off a 671 and replacing it with a manual sector box. The problem is that 671 transmission has guide pins for the sector and the one I am putting on has no holes for the pins. I tried to pull them out with vise-grips...

Hello KC , All power steering tractors have Dowel Pins to keep the steering box from moving Manual steering does not drive them down flush or all the way through and out the bottom unless you have stud remover or can get one .

In from the top they can get dislodged while running the car or in a wreck .
