I am constantly battling myself whether to get a third guinea pig or not. of course, i would need permission from apartment management.
however, what are the differences in costs? vet bills? responsibility? what are the pros and cons of owning three pigs...

For now I don't think you should be fostering guinea pigs.
If a guinea pig gets sick or needs surgery, the bills it's probably a different story.
You'd need a large fund for medical expenses.

I was just curious how many of you bath your guinea pigs, especially ones with short hair. If you do bath them what are the reasons? I brush my girls every day and this seems to take out most dirt and keeps them pretty clean. I did do a bum wash on Abbey...

Unless you are bathing for lice or other parasites, bathing can dry out the Guinea Pigs skin and cause flaking and itchyness.
It isn't healthy/pleasant/necessary to bathe a Guinea Pig more than once in 6-8 months.
