I have a bunch of controller assignments saved in Guitar Rig 4 and I'd like to get them into Guitar Rig 5 so I don't have to recreate them. How can I do that?

This should transfer settings....
It will be in the user directory (My Documents, Native Instruments, Guitar Rig 4 would be a good place to start.) You for the controller then you need to get that file in the Guitar Rig 5 settings directory.

If you record the output as midi instead guitar->midi? How does it compare to using a hex pickup? i feed a roland gk-2a pickup on a squier.
