Personally, I would never use H&R Block.
They went to H&R block last year, spent about $300 (not a tax preparer) $60 to file my taxes electronically.
Week and she was wondering the same thing.

How does direct deposit work with a tax refund when you go through H&R Block? Does H&R Block deposit the money into your account or does the IRS? If H&R Block does it how long does it take after they receive the money?

If you go for the instant refund, Block is actually making you a loan contingent on your refund, and the charge you for the loan.
The IRS.
H&R Block has nothing to do with it as long as you don't get their instant refund.
