Hi,
My H1B is expiring next month (Jun 30th, 2012). My visa has expired on 30th Sep 2009.
I went to US on "Jan 22nd 2007" and came back to India on "Feb 24th 2010". I stayed in US for 3 years.
I have an opportunity now to travel again. But is it possible...

It is not advisable to go for stamping with just 1 month validity which is not realistically enough to file the H1B extension considering LCA and the time petition to travel....
For the visa stamping as I just have a month left.

All,
I had a strange situation. I was in US for the past few years and my H1B visa has been rejected after i was issued a 221g in Jan. And now i'm going for L2 visa stamping, can anyone share their experiences/thoughts on this ? Your help is greatly appreciated...

Hi Everyone,
Here is the situation. I am in US since 2009 on J1 Visa.
My J1 status expires on August 30th, 2012.
I have already received my Approval Notice for H1 B and Change of Status ( i 94 ) which are valid from 1st October, 2012.

No way, you can come back to US on J1 visa because, once you go out of country, your J1 ....
01 though you can start the processing right after landing in India .
You can re-enter US only 10 days before Oct.
And apply for visa from there.

Canadian work permit has nothing to do with H1B and it will not have any impact when you.
Attend the H1B visa interview.No issues.

How can you return back in F1 after getting your H1B stamped? The first thing they will do is cancel your F1 and you cannot enter U.S in H1B until the H1B petition becomes effective.
It will not work.
