We looking to upgrade to sky tv, phone and broadband and I have a concern over how the hd feature works.
Basically, I want to know that of you take out the entertainment extra package which gives you a few HD channels, do you need to have the HD...

The only HD channels you will get for free are BBC One HD, BBC HD, ITV ....
Yes you need the HD pack to view any of the HD versions of the channels that are part of the packages you already subscribe to.

I am watching a few HD PPV Channels and or HD Channels and I noticed some pixelation that comes and goes. Should I do an FD and rescan sats with channels back again would fix the problem? I did a hard boot from the back which did not solve the pixelation...

Are TMC Channels 329 and 330 Suppose to be in HD?
Are 329 TMC-W and 340 TMCXW suppose to be in HD? According the Dish website they are for America's Top 250, but they are not showing as HD on my receiver Channel Guide.

On some of my HD channels (Yes, I'm POSITIVE they're in HD) the Premiere asks me to set a recording quality, like they were analog channels. Any idea why it would do this for HD (Digital) channels?

Hi - you should be seeing all the free HD channels, without a card, though there aren't many of them.

I have 1 H20 and 2 H23's. Returned home today to find no HD channels on the H20. The H23's are working perfectly, all channels on those.
I have done a menu reset and a RBR on the H20 but still no HD channels on that one receiver. Could this be a B-band...

I just set up Dreamlink HD, installed 8psk module, plugged in server info, no problems. after 110 & 119 scan i get only standard channels, no HD. I reseated the 8psk module, no issues. Rescanned sats, still no HD channels. Ideas anyone? thanks

channels out have you used it before i use ndf channel editor, its on the blade website.

Hello!
With Four free HD Channels (e.g. ZDF HD) I get the following message even in VLC media player preview:
"Sorry, cannot display this channel either because there is a technical problem or no TV signal"
Other free HD Channels can be watched in MCE...

I use cccam on a dreambox and can check my working channels on the web server it runs.
These are my freqs and sids
SS HD 1 - Freq the sky card.
For the channels, as when you do a scan you get multiple channels.
