Do they broadcast in 1080 or 720? My bluray discs seem to be clearer and sharper than the HD channels, although must say I really enjoyed some of the recent snooker world chamopionships on the HD channel? i

I have Comcast analog cable, and they send local HD channels over the analog cable. If I get a Tivo Premier will is be able to get those channels through it's analog tuner?

I ended up getting the M-Card from Comcast the the HD channels are way up in the channel 200 range in....
And you get guide data for those HD channels or can you only schedule by time/channel directly.

Hello!
With Four free HD Channels (e.g. ZDF HD) I get the following message even in VLC media player preview:
"Sorry, cannot display this channel either because there is a technical problem or no TV signal"
Other free HD Channels can be watched in MCE...

But not on exclusively HD channels! US shows run about 4% faster on both SD and HD channels in the UK.
Issues if two versions of the same show have different running times .

Channels Affected for me are WDR HD with the dish, and did improve the signal slightly but had no effect on these hd channels.
To rescale to 1080i.

Can anyone tell me why Virgin don't have as many HD channels as SKY, is it purely down to cost or do SKY only allow certain ones to be broadcast by Virgin?

I have basic cable and for the past couple weeks when I try to watch ABC and PBS HD channels my TV will take a moment trying to tune in and then say No Signal.
Anybody know what could be wrong?

Just recently I havent been able to tune into these two stations HD channels.
Was not needed to get the local HD channels, and that has been the case for the last year or so since I have had cable.
