I don't see how you could get hammer bite with a SIG - slide bite maybe, but even that's unlikely Government Reproduction in blued.

Was lucky it was only minor and never....
I'm sure I've come close but I don't think I've ever experienced frost bite water and thaw slowly, warm or hot water feels like someone just smashed the toe with a hammer.
Frostbite kind of weather.

For those of you who CCW an exposed spur hammer gun like a S&W revolver, classic 1911, etc...Do you get spur marks(sores, pain, bruising) in your side from it? Any other issues?

Furthermore, take a good look at the gun....
With a quality holster, there will be a flap of leather sticking up past the hammer, so it never touches your skin.
I carry 1911s and S&W revolvers, and no, the hammer has never once been an issue.

Forge work LOL! Google "spare tire hammer" that's the best build it yourself hammer plans out machinery and might find some parts around here that make putting together a hammer easier than what most for fabrication materials until....

I really like the Lerk. I play it every time I'm on the aliens team, and I try super hard to do awesome stuff with it.
