I own drill corded and DeWalt....
A hammer drill will do most small home owner jobs holes in a year a hammer drill is the better choice, the other tool can be rented for a day or so.

Your best bet would be to replace it ....
Milwaukee quit furnishing AEG parts many years ago so finding parts will not be easy .
AEG was bought out by Atlas Copco which also owned Milwaukee, They were then bought out by T TI who owns Ryobi .
No one anymore.
