My lifelines look to be in good shape but the coating is yellowing a bit and the coating is damaged in a few places. Can I just cut/peel off the coating or does it serve some other function except trapping moisture?

The advantage to no coating is you can see rust and broken strands.

I am considering changing the white (body color) paint on my wheels to white powder coating. I have a few chips in the paint and thought that powder coating would hold up better. Are there any disadvantages in powder coating wheels, as opposed to painting...

I recently read about a spray on coating that is supposed to be available to consumers mid 2012. It makes any surface super hydrophobic and I thought it could be used on bike apparel. It seems like this coating is very durable and it is a big jump compared...

Rubber coating a knife grip - options? Hi Folks,
A customer has requested a custom FS knife with a rubber coating on the grip.
Can anyone advise as to options available for this?
I'm not sure if there may be a commercially available aerosol for rubber...

Paint comes off pretty easy and powder coat is hard to salt should first have a coating of zinc rich primer then the top coat.

Keeping Supra logo when powder coating brakes I have seen people powder coat their caliper but end up keeping the supra logo or they repaint the logo my question is how do they keep the supra logo Last edited by clutch6racerone; Today at 12:28 AM .
