When your cold goes your hearing should return to normal - you just have to wait it out.

I am deaf myself. But I can talk well, I know sign language. I went to college, have my own house, job, a dog, and everything that a person would need in their life. I have everything, except that my ears don't work at all. But if you saw me on a street...

I've got a 50db hearing loss in one ear and tinnitis in both. In the past I've been able to handle phone calls if the environment was relatively quiet, but my hearing is getting worse.
Anyone out there with hearing loss and still able to handle phone ...

Mum has a special radio controlled unit linked to the house smoke alarms that operates
both a strobe light in the main unit and a heavy vibrating pad that goes under her pillow,
it's also WiFi friendly.
Problem is, it's going off at all hours, often waking...

I just want to see what you think of a guy who is blind or visually impaired. Would you date them? Let's assume they have a full time job, and are not unemployed like 70% of blind people (that's over 13 million people).

Many years ago, when I was in my 20s, I dated a blind girl that the person blocking the aisle in the grocery store can't hear you say 'Excuse me.'.
