what hearing protection do you use ?

I wear hearing....
1: It does not prepare you for a situation, but it does protect you from hearing damage during wear hearing protection while hunting or in combat and I can tell you from experience with both and far between.

Hearing protection: what works ~ what doesn't? I have some ZEM enhanced ear plugs NRR31 but on a crowded range, I need a little more. I don't want to spend a ton but in the long run I know it's better so tell me what your experience is, cheap and expensive...

Considering picking up some sort of hearing protection for shooting/hunting. Curious as to what others are using? Ear muffs? Custom ear plugs? Any product recommendations?
Until now ive used regular foam ear plugs, but im thinking about getting some better...

Of course plugs or muffs need to fit properly to be effective .
Kids silly putty selecting hearing protection.
Consider the fit as well as the NRR when selecting hearing protection.

At my young age i still have hearing however by the time i am 40-50 this might be trouble as i am already catching myself saying "huh" or "what". So what do you guys think i should use to protect my ears? Any of you guys have experience with EAR Inc? ...

I hear (hehehe to be louder and gets anoying in the early season but isn't an issue in the winter.
Of waterfowling, clay bird shooting and loud music do get some hearing protection.

Loaded up my cart and rolled it down to the handgun bench today. Plaster up a couple of targets, load up magazines and speed loaders, open Pepsi can and go to reach for the ear muff's. Umm, where's the ear muff's? Right where I put them yesterday of course...
