What's the first dnb tune you remember hearing and loving. Basically which tunes started your dnb journey? Mines this. Remember hearing the intro of this track when i was like 12-13 yrs old, took me ages to find out what it was.

I still love slam =) This Mix alone get my into drum and bass.
This is the first track I remember hearing and someone actually telling it was drum and bass and after that I slowly switched from punk to drum and bass.

The Soundlens vent is much larger and my ear feels much more open with the Soundlens .
Mark, I just posted on another thread, I am trialing the Intiga 10 IIC and the Soundlens IIC .

People are used to hearing sounds with the spectral content that the sounds.
In other words the sensitivity curve of our hearing changes with sound, but not human perception.

OT-Let`s settle this-does a $1000 bass sound $800 better than a $200 bass In the studio? I can`t tell the difference.

I have an svs pb12-NSD subwoofer and love it. It's accurate and gets in low. However the only think I am not pleased with is the impact of the bass. I sure feel the low end stuff that cause things on shelves to fall, but the mid end stuff, like "gunshots...

Do you use any hearing protection or headphones? This can sometimes help in the room.

Lots of guys and girls prefer a Jazz bass, and many prefer something completely different.
An American Standard P bass and played it for a bit, and my fingers practically sighed with relief, but I can't say I prefer it over the P tone.
Aybe this can help me go out and look for certain basses, should be fun hearing the stories and experiences!

My hearing is fine- I can usually hear fairly subtle differences but never did blind tests on my phone, and when I switched ears, I can hear better when I switched it to my left.
