Anyone looking for any type of performance upgrade or better fuel mileage, I would "Strongly" recommend that you change out the Thunder Heart, "BDM Proprietary" ignition to the Thunder Heart 5012 "Programmable" Ignition.
This is "one" of the MOST worthwhile...

The Lesser the Resistance the Better Voltage Output or SPARK! I like the Thunder Heart this ignition easily for less than 300 bucks....
