So much.
My heater core has two fitting one 5/8 and one 3/4. My rad has a 3/4 fitting and so does my
water pump. My intake has a 5/8 fitting. How do I hook up 2 3/4 fittings to my heater core
Should be one coming from your water pump going through the heater core and then one going to your

While dismantling the engine for a head gasket change, I broke the hose leading to the heater core
to believe the heater core is bad. How hard is it to change a heater core? I know on some cars...

Step 5: remove heater core
...that is the basic steps for removal, assembly is the opposite
. Leave the AC side alone when removing, and wiggle the heater side out to get to the heater core

I imagine this must be caused by air in the heater core since I had heat before I replaced
the heater hoses and filling the heater core with water. (I couldn't get water to come out
the firewall and the heater core to get kinked. I guess I can disconnect the hoses again and blow some air...

I'm eliminating my heater core hoses this summer and wondered what folks do to compensate
I didn't remove the tank. But I did remove the heater core.
All i did was link the bottom hose
, since the metal pipe it is originally routed to on A2s is gone with the heater core delete.

I'm going to attempt the dreaded heater core install. It sounds so easy in the Chilton manual
from the heater core at the firewall. (be prepared for antifreeze coming out of the hoses) next look a little...
can open up the heater core lid later.
now inside the car.
i HIGHLY recommend labeling setting

How do I access the heater core? What do I have to take apart under the dash?
trucks heater core was accessed by removing the box that the blower motor is mounted. Please
be carefull with the A/C you may have to discharge in order to service the heater core.
