Foil tape for everythign related to heating pat/heat tape! Foil tape is conductive, keep it the hell withstandhigh temps pad would be noproblem)
i was gonna use duct tape but wanted to ask first.

I am getting a leopard gecko and ineed a heating pad. from amazon.com reviews it appears flukers is the way to go but I thought a few more opinions would be nice.

I like them because they are vinyl coated instead of many of the heating pads and fires.
I like ZooMed heating pads and also ZooMed heat cable which can be taped to the bottom of the tank in any configuration.

Does anyone know of any decent heating pads that don't seem to shut off-or cool down quickly after just getting hot?

It is a safety issue and if you are....
They stay on for an hour and take another 20 minutes to cool down .
Thanks !! My mom and I have SoftHeat heating pads.
Awesome! I'll look for a Sunbeam one.
Or blanket over it to keep the heat in.
