As far as heating oil and dyed fuel go, they are both exactly the same.

Me, i flick it on for an hour to heat the rooms, then it goes off..Had no heating on all weekend as the boiler packed in. ( went to bed with hot water bottle )...working again now..( Thanks to mr gasman this morning lol...

When summer hits, I am sure there will be no need ( in fact, posts on cooling to low seventies, you do not need heat.
There is no need for heating.
