Keep in mind that using heavy cream in place the substitutions....
In place of heavy cream? Since the recipe calls for 4 1/2 cups milk (thats over 1 quart), I think that much heavy cream would be too rich for the recipe.

What can i substitute for whipping cream in frosting? It calls for 1/4 cup of whipping cream. I have cool whip, evaporated milk, and half and half. Will any of those work?

You can use evaporated, half n half to help! use the cool whip-its alot easier to sub the whipping cream with and it will come out alot come from years....
Heavy or whipping cream will give you the richest frosting.

On induction those items are not allowed.
You'd do better to buy some heavy whipping cream and whipping it up yourself and freezingWhipped cream and yogurt usually sugar.

I don't know of a cookie recipe that uses cream, but I have a cream scone recipe in my blog.
