I am gonna rant:
MI just changed the motorcycle helmet law and no longer require you to wear one. Personally I think its retarded not to wear one, but Why do motorcyclist get the choice? I have to wear my seat belt, there is a law for that! All I am saying...

Michigan's New Helmet Law
You can ride w/o a helmet in Michigan now as long as you are 21, been riding for two years, and carry an additional 20k insurance (about 15 minutes in an ICU).
I will keep mine on and the best of luck to those who choose not...

That wouldn't wear a helmet if there was no law (where I live), wear a "toy" helmet with a DOT sticker? I believe states with no helmet law for adults still have helmet laws for children.

It's the law to wear your seatbelt when driving a car, it should also be law to wear a helmet when driving a motorcycle.

Not super happy with the new "no standing on pegs, bike will be impounded" aspect of this. Helmet laws will make sense though. I'll have to check my helmets to see which are Snell 2005 or 2010.
