Reverse the roles.
That help minimize the effects, and she may have periods--even long periods--where depression isn't beating to make life with depression less dreary.

OH suffers from Depression. Also physical problems.
The physical side I can deal with, I can see when help is needed. but the depression is so difficult sometimes.
I have read an old thread on here about CBT, OH is currently receiving this councilling...
