Last night I did my 2nd henna/henna gloss
It turned out wonderfully, some reddish tones on chestnut hair...and wonderful shine and softness ( thanks to EVOO and argan oil and conditioner)..
I met a friend, with my hair still wet and first she complimented...

No, like you I've heard the opposite, that Henna makes hair thicker and that it can relax curl she doesn't know.

I regularly get my hair highlighted and colored at the salon every couple of months. It's expensive and I hate the chemicals. I've heard of people using Henna hair dye, which is supposed to be better if you buy the kind without the harmful ingredients...

However after hennaing it will be harder to get, I tried the same technique on my hair, and the henna didn't budge.

But the henna will still shine through at times, so remember that.
But I do believe you can achieve the color you're looking for with henna and indigo together no problem of the red which you can do with the indigo.

Ok, I'm not so happy with my current hair color. It's a 2-step henndigo that is just little to cool and dark for me. I loved it at first ut now it has lost most of it's shine.. My DH loves it and want's it to be even darker.. But I find it waaay to dark...
