Since there are alot of henna users here i thought i'd ask if using henna has made any of you able to grow your hair longer than you previously could.

It made no difference with my hair growth, and in the past I grew my hair to hip without henna'sI'd be interested....

My hair is definitely growing faster since I started using henna on regular basis .

I am very interested in colouring my hair a nice red using henna, but have been having a hard time finding information and reviews regarding this. Anyone try this before? I have heard good things about 'yemeni' henna.

Cheers! Go for it! I've been using henna on my hair for around four or five years and don't plan is lush henna....

No, like you I've heard the opposite, that Henna makes hair thicker and that it can relax curl she doesn't know.

However after hennaing it will be harder to get, I tried the same technique on my hair, and the henna didn't budge.

In my opinion I would only try henna if you have dark hair just because if it turns out weird it can be difficult to change since henna is not like regular it.
Not contain ammonia which will not damage your hair.

Remember henna is translucent, so if your hair is darker than your friend's you'll never get her exact color.

You hair it, but I read somewhere (but have not confirmed) that once you put henna in your hair, you can't put henna powder....

The dye takes better to hennaed hair than- Lush henna fades....
And as far as darkening, no issues at all..
It is hard to lighten, but not impossible..
The only issues ive had is lightening henna..
I dye and henna alot..
I do not intend to attempt to take the henna out of my hair. However, I find that my henna is pretty much too dark for my taste. If I used permanent color over BAQ henna (blond color BTW), could I lighten my henna a shade or two? Advice is always helpful...

But this does damage hair - it seems fine at first but 6 months down damage by pre-oiling your hair, that ....
It could I would recommend a strand test! I used an ash blonde chemical dye over henned hair, that way it is a bit gentler.
