If you have a herniated disc you are in moderate to very severe pain. If you are in severe pain you definitely want to get rid of it. Here is a good source of information on herniated disc, herniated disc back surgery and how to cure a herniated disc....

Herniated disc and stunted growth? I herniated my spinal disc L4 and L5 around late 2010. I was 16 back then and now I am turning 18. I am still currently at the same height. So, I was wondering if the hernia stunted my growth.

And is it really herniated or just buldging.
One thing to ask yourself, is it "their" definition of a herniated disc or an MRI showing a herniated disc that provided them with a diagnosis.
