Of adding in your own trunking, one cheap way of keeping cables tidy is to use Spiral Wrap:
http on the gensets/inside the control gear they make, but it's just as well suited for tidying up computer cables the place where all cables....

I am looking to wall mount a tv in a newbuild extension and have a query about hiding cables behind plasterboard (dot and dab).

Use a size or two bigger than you think you need because you WILL want to run more cables or rip one out and try again some time the opportunity to get at the cables....

I have standard Sea&Sea cables which comfortably only stretch to a bit over a metre (3ft).
You can get them is visible stretched out in the middle .
Bar seems to produce 2m sync cables (I assume you are looking for fiber optic?).

You'll find that, when the test was done, the monoprice cables would not pass.
Have a look.
Online using an oscilloscope and signal generator to demonstrate which long-run cables can still pass the 1080p.
