I run my taskbar buttons with the setting "Combine when taskbar is full". Is there any way to force some of your pinned taskbar applications to only use the "icon" rather than the icon + label?

Does your kiosk have a keyboard? Most kiosks don't so that won't be an issue .
It still might be possible to alt-tab to the window .
Instead of minimizing them, just throw them 9000 pixels to the left, and bring them back when needed .

Are trying to do! You are trying to hide the GUID in the URL but posting the same information in your HTML domain name, you can use a cookie.
