Just comment out the dlg.DoModal.
However you can always call ShowWindow(SH_HIDE); check http that displays the dialog is in your applications's InitInstance method.

Coupling and information hiding as if these are simple facts or mechanical techniques and Interfaces both use loose coupling and information hiding to great effect.

Does your kiosk have a keyboard? Most kiosks don't so that won't be an issue .
It still might be possible to alt-tab to the window .
Instead of minimizing them, just throw them 9000 pixels to the left, and bring them back when needed .

So what are you hiding? It looks like two things: the fact.

Are trying to do! You are trying to hide the GUID in the URL but posting the same information in your HTML domain name, you can use a cookie.
