Ok so last week i was at hospital getting blood work, 24 hr urine and bp readings. My bp jumps from 130-160 by just sitting up and walking around. when im laying on my side ranges from 110-130. my urine tests and liver tests came back good but im nervous...

My doc says the damage from the high BP is worse much? How high was ur bp? Well for example yesterday morning at the dentist my bp was 105/60.
I am also on labetalol.
I would take the meds.

Went in to my regular monthly appointment.... not happy about the weight gain...7 pounds! :/ but it is the first weight i have gained the entire pregnancy....but I will definitely be watching it. My BP was high again so dr has now put me on BP meds......

I've been on bp meds since I was 19 years old lol and now and then spiked at 13wks so they....
Mine was normal but at least you made it this far without them .
Glad things are looking good overall! I've been on BP meds since 14wks.

I was induced 2 days before my due date upped my meds and last ....
I was told they wouldn't let me go over 40 weeks .
Baby my Bp was controlled well with meds and I was scheduled for induction at 39 weeks I ended up with meds.

I have chronic hypertension, and my bp shot up at 31 weeks.
Lastly, I never had high bp prior to pregnancy.

Now that I'm pregnant again my bp has dropped (like it always doesIt can take a while for bp ....
My bp actually went UP after delivery and STAYED UP - so managing my meds able to drop a few meds.
For the first 5 weeks.

You folks that have it... did it just show up? What tipped you off or was it just a routine doc visit? I have always been healthy, no drugs except the alcohol in beer and an occasional schnaps, no medicine except aspirin for a headache if it didn't go...

All I work as a Service Officer helping Vets, widows and orphans get their entitlements .
He's happy.
Put me on some
BP meds and within 6-mos I was down to 140/85.
He got very excited.

I am 11 mths post delivery and I'm still dealing with high bp. I was diagnosed with PIH at 34 1/2 wks and put on bedrest. I was induced at 38 1/2 wks bc of my blood pressure. I never developed pre-e.

It is frustrating, but sometimes bp becomes chronic once you develop....
I had an adverse reaction where my skin if that helps before you go on other BP meds.
Swollen with high blood pressure so I was put on BP meds.

When none of that helped, they decided controlled on one BP med....
I ended up on 3 different BP meds and bed rest.
I am induced at 39w at home.
Bedrest limits! I am being monitored for high BP that starts in 1st tri.
