Confused about string tension Ok I still can't understand how string tension works. Every website says increasing tension decreases power. I only find this true when I go above 24 or 25 lbs of string tension. If I use a racket at 27 lbs it feels harder...

Stripped timing belt tensioner bolts??? Went to replace my tensioner after installing Fidenza cam gears and the threads are stripped for the tensioner. Is this a common problem on the MKIV? Are helicoils the easiest fix or can I retap the aluminum? Any...

Insist on using a 1....
You should never used helicoil.
The threads on the oil pump for the timing belt idler tensioner are 10mm X 1.25mm thread pitch.
If you have stripped the bolt on the timing belt idler tensioner you need to repair them.
