On completion of the scan click "Save log", save it to your desktop The log file has been saved successfully to "C:\Users\Dad\Desktop\aswMBR.txt"
Where it says "infected\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
Copy and....
The "Scan" button to start scan.

Hello,
I recently noticed that I can't open msconfig and task manager And when I hold down alt-tab to browse through what files I have open It shows me a program named 'Hijackthis' I cant open it all. I can only see it in alt-tab.

Hi all, I am running xp pro sp2 on a dell p4. Received a virus with a large page telling me I'm infected and was trying to tun a cleaner. I ran Hijackthis and hope someone could give it a quick browse and advice.

I have updated advast and let it run the dated log and press view log and a text file will appear.

My mother in law's computer has been running slowly lately. I ran a bunch of the well known spyware, adware, malware programs but they didn't find anything.

If I don't get back to you at some point in time, it's because my DSL went out log says at the top to attach....
HiJackThis is rarely used today because it just doesn't give a full picture of what may be going for checking my HJT log.
