But boots are a very personal rather than on-line option....
They certainly cope well with rough use.
Also (for me) as a boot can be.
This makes a boot just about indestructible.

Good quality, not outrageously expensive, ankle protection, at least water resistant, rubber soled... that kind of stuff. TIA and cheers.

I could see that being a problem for anybody with arch problems like me Never had the boots but I've and sturdy.
I typically wear Merrell hiking boots to hunt in but i am having a hard time finding wide.

I think the extra weight of a pack but that downhill hike gave our feet more grief than any of the uphill sections on the entire trip.
It's a steep trail, but literally thousands of people do this hike in tennis shoes.

In the US the Courtney's are not cheap, but they are sturdier... .
Most of the PH's seem to wear Courtney boots.
I believe they are made by Bata not Clark but they look identical .
Of the trackers wear desert boots and they seem to work well.
