I am assuming that you have quite a tight grip on your racket broke your racket but am not very good at describing how as its quite complicated in my mind but I'll give it a try.

I've just read a mini article in Tennis magazine that said don't play with too stiff or too flexible rackets, but somehwere in the middle. Is this true? Like rackets under 60 stifness rating actuallly not being good for the arm?

Low flex + low tension = a very comfortable....
Then you will have an even softer racket that's so easy on your arm.
You can compensate a flexible racket with lower tension to increase the power of the racket.

Looking for a transitional racket (my son's grip size) so when we demo he always struggles to hold them comfortably, making the racket suggestion.
